Hydrating Topical Foam

Hydrating Topical Foam is used for:

Treating or preventing dry, itchy skin or minor skin irritations caused by various skin conditions, including atopic dermatitis and allergic contact dermatitis.

Hydrating Topical Foam is an emollient, protectant, and skin barrier combination. It works by moisturizing the skin and reducing skin irritation.

Do NOT use Hydrating Topical Foam if:

  • you are allergic to any ingredient in Hydrating Topical Foam

Contact your doctor or health care provider right away if any of these apply to you.

Before using Hydrating Topical Foam :

Some medical conditions may interact with Hydrating Topical Foam . Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you have any medical conditions, especially if any of the following apply to you:

  • if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or are breast-feeding
  • if you are taking any prescription or nonprescription medicine, herbal preparation, or dietary supplement
  • if you have allergies to medicines, foods, or other substances
  • if the affected area has open sores or severe irritation

Some MEDICINES MAY INTERACT with Hydrating Topical Foam . However, no specific interactions with Hydrating Topical Foam are known at this time.

Ask your health care provider if Hydrating Topical Foam may interact with other medicines that you take. Check with your health care provider before you start, stop, or change the dose of any medicine.

How to use Hydrating Topical Foam :

Use Hydrating Topical Foam as directed by your doctor. Check the label on the medicine for exact dosing instructions.

  • Hydrating Topical Foam is for external use only. Do not get Hydrating Topical Foam in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If you get Hydrating Topical Foam in your eyes, rinse right away with cool tap water.
  • Wash your hands before and after using Hydrating Topical Foam unless your hands are a part of the treated area.
  • Wash and completely dry the affected area with a mild or soapless cleanser. Apply only enough of Hydrating Topical Foam to completely cover the affected area and gently rub it in until it is evenly distributed and completely absorbed.
  • Do not wrap or bandage the treated area unless directed to do so by your doctor.
  • Additional skin moisturizers may be used if necessary. Contact your doctor if you have any questions.
  • If you miss using Hydrating Topical Foam for 1 or more days, there is no cause for concern. If your doctor recommended that you use it, try to remember every day.

Important safety information:

  • Hydrating Topical Foam is for external use only. Do not get Hydrating Topical Foam in your eyes, nose, or mouth. If you get Hydrating Topical Foam in any of these areas, rinse them right away with cool tap water.
  • If you use topical products too often, your condition may become worse.
  • Hydrating Topical Foam may cause you to become sunburned more easily. Avoid the sun, sunlamps, or tanning booths until you know how you react to Hydrating Topical Foam . Use a sunscreen or wear protective clothing if you must be outside for more than a short time.
  • Talk with your doctor before you use any other medicines or cleansers on your skin.
  • If the symptoms do not improve, if they get worse, or if they clear up and then come back again, contact your doctor.
  • Hydrating Topical Foam is flammable. Do not store near fire or an open flame. Avoid fire, open flame, or smoking during and immediately after use.
  • PREGNANCY and BREAST-FEEDING: If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Hydrating Topical Foam while you are pregnant. It is not known if Hydrating Topical Foam is found in breast milk after topical use. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Hydrating Topical Foam , check with your doctor. Discuss any possible risks to your baby.

Possible side effects of Hydrating Topical Foam :

All medicines may cause side effects, but many people have no, or minor, side effects. Check with your doctor if any of these most COMMON side effects persist or become bothersome:

Mild burning, itching, dryness, redness, or scaling at the application site.

Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:

Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; itching; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); severe, persistent, or worsening itching, burning, redness, scaling, stinging, or irritation at the application site.

If OVERDOSE is suspected:

Proper storage of Hydrating Topical Foam :

Store Hydrating Topical Foam at room temperature, between 59 and 77 degrees F (15 and 25 degrees C). Store away from heat and direct sunlight. Do not expose to heat or store at temperatures above 120 degrees F (49 degrees C). Do not puncture, break, or burn the canister, even if it appears to be empty. Keep Hydrating Topical Foam out of the reach of children and away from pets.
