Carbastat Ocular is a cholinergic agent/miotic. The exact way Carbastat Ocular works is not fully understood. It works by constricting the iris and other parts of the eye, resulting in reduction of eye pressure.

Bladder tightness; change in vision; flushing; headache; indigestion; stomach cramps; stomach upset; sweating; urge to urinate.
Seek medical attention right away if any of these SEVERE side effects occur:Severe allergic reactions (rash; hives; difficulty breathing; tightness in the chest; swelling of the mouth, face, lips, or tongue); blisters on the eye; blurred or decreased vision; cloudy vision; eye or eyelid swelling; eye pain or redness; increased tearing; sensitivity to light.

Proper storage of Carbastat Ocular:Store Carbastat Ocular at room temperature, between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C). Store away from heat, moisture, and light. Do not store in the bathroom. Keep Carbastat Ocular out of the reach of children and away from pets.
